what a beautiful day it was turning out to be. Joffre Peak and Mt Matier are located about an hour north of Pemberton and I have since visited the area numerous times as its natural beauty is hard to beat

this is about 1/2hr after we started and you can spot the highway in background

looks like some people had some good turns in the last couple days

with every down must come an uphill climb, this time it was too steep to skin up, but well worth it

while steve was on the other side of the knoll we where trying to get up I was lucky enough to find a small crevasse. Good thing too, not like my heart wasn't racing fast enough from the climb up

I was able to throw my skis down to stop any further sinking

just follow the white snowy trail to the car
