we decided to go and climb Mt St Helens with no training and I had just had Dylan (I think she was no more than a couple months if not weeks old) and I was in no shape to be climbing, but we went anyways. As it would turn out I just didn't have what it would take to make it to the top today, that and it somehow took 12hrs to get to the mountain and we still wanted to climb it

how come his pack looks so small, and why are we even wearing packs when we know we will not be camping?

hey look, I'm exhausted and we haven't even really begun the climb

a bit of a breeze kept a chill in the air, but still nice weather

we'll I am as high as I'm going today, so time to strap the planks on and go skiing, this would be my first time skiing on a volcano

Steve is now thinking he should have brought skis, or not

we haggled this place down to $50 for the night, and what a hole in the wall it was. We found all the towels stained, the bed linens where stained and I remember sleeping in my hiking gear, after Steve courageously took a shower and then came out in his towel that was covered in unrecognizable stains, hahahaha
