after about 2hrs hiking up snow slopes I got my first view of needle peak. Another solo trip for me and I was in high spirits, although the amount of snow present surprised me pleasantly...

you gain the ridge on the right and follow it up to the left till there is no more uphill to go

you follow the ridge from right to left and gain the sumitt by going slightly behind the rock shown

looks daunting from this point and really not sure about being able to get up it

you make your way somehow through and over the rocks to the summit. It took some route finding to find my way as there are no markers present, so it was guess work and a couple wrong turns, but it all worked out

working my way slowly threw the rocks to gain the summit ridge

self pic of me on the summit of Needle Peak. What a beautiful day, wind was blowing slightly but you can't beat that view

Yak Peak was right across the valley and I would love to one day climb it, its not a hard climb by any means but very impressive to view. You drive right by it when you're on the coquihalla highway and it looks very large. But not enough time in the day today...
